Manufactured with a durable polyurethane coated fabric, all Zodiac throw-over life rafts are assembled using the advanced Zodiac hot assembly technique, Thermobonding™.
Being computer-controlled, Thermobonding™ eliminates the inconsistencies inherent in the old-fashioned gluing methods still used by other manufacturers.
The fabric's chemical nature and the Thermobonding process make Zodiac throw-over life rafts especially inert to aging factors in the marine environment and procure to ZODIAC throw-over life rafts extreme strength and safety when loaded, an essential factor for this type of life raft.
Due to the fabric weight and structure, Zodiac throw-over life rafts are easy to service and require light, short sized but remarkably strong, glass reinforced plastic ( GRP ) containers. All Zodiac throw-over life rafts can be dropped from up to 36 meters. (May vary depending on the size of the life raft).
Equipment packs are sealed in strong watertight bags, secured to the internal safety line of the life rafts. Approved EPIRB may also be included on request.
