The SR4M is the smallest in the Searider range. Recent years have seen a substantial growth in the use of rigid hulled inflatables pioneered and commercially developed by Avon to handle any inshore or offshore task. Their maneuverability and performance are very hard to equal. Their inflatable buoyancy and deep V seagoing hull easily enabling Seariders to operate in the most difficult conditions. Larger high speed craft have also been approved by the British Marine Coastguard Agency as safety boats on stand-by vessels in the North Sea oil fields. Specially equipped craft are produced for law enforcement, fire fighting and other special applications.
